Eleanor Hamilton-Wohl, LCSW works with clients who are ready to tackle perfectionism, people-pleasing, and relationship issues. She helps women, non-binary, femmes and sex workers stop feeling “less than”. Her clients go from putting everyone else’s needs before their own to building a life they love.
She works best with people who are so sick of being unhappy that they’re willing to make some changes. A skilled trauma therapist, she will support you each step of the way. She specializes in helping women through life transitions: whether it’s a relationship ending, a new career, or becoming a mom. Eleanor’s style is to roll up her sleeves and get in there with you. No topic is off the table: sex, money, cellulite, constipation? All topics for therapy! Let’s get it all out, there’s nothing to be ashamed of.
Eleanor has over ten years of experience working in mental health and somatics. Graduating from the University of California-Berkeley in 2011, followed by receiving a Masters in Social Work at The University of Texas at Austin. There, she deepened her studies on trauma and began teaching embodied movement. After over five years of working in agencies with women and families, she started her private practice in 2020.
A New Orleans native, Eleanor loves to watch Bravo and then listen to podcasts where people talk about Bravo. She’s usually in sweatpants, sprinting down the street after her two young sons. Once she’s caught her breath, you can find her lifting weights, dancing, or reading.
